Notice of Proposed New or Increased City Fees or Taxes

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 9-511.01 that the El Mirage City Council will hold a public meeting at 6:00 pm at the Council Chambers of the City of El Mirage, 14010 N El Mirage Road, El Mirage, Arizona 85335 on or after June 20, 2013 to consider increasing water rates. A copy of a written report and supporting data for the proposed change is on file with the City Clerk of the City of El Mirage, 12145 NW Grand Avenue, El Mirage, Arizona 85335 and is available for public inspection.

The City of El Mirage will be applying a pavement treatment to preserve and extend the life of the asphalt on arterial streets in the City. The roads will be restriped once the pavement treatments are applied. Work will start on June 24, 2013 and all work will be completed by June 29, 2013. Expect delays and traffic restrictions during the process. The roads scheduled for treatment are:

  • Dysart Road from Peoria Ave. north to Greenway Ave.
  • Cactus Road from El Mirage Road east to Main St.
  • Thompson Ranch Rd from Grand Ave. northwest to El Mirage Rd.
